When I was growing up, I have major memories based around a Commodore 64. I played a lot of it and so did the family. So when I opened my Valentine's Day gift to find a joystick filled with the games that were on that Commodore - Jumpman, Mission Impossible, even Summer and Winter Games! I was so excited. Jim also got me kissing bears which I wasn't impressed by but I was by the joystick! Maybe I am the geek afterall!

I like that you're more intrigued by the gift that is less conventionally "romantic." I thik those are usually more endearing too, because they're more personal and tell more about the relationship than the expected gifts.
I meant "think," not "thik"!
I agree...but Jim couldn't believe I didn't like the bears even a little bit...he is quite over the fact that I am not a girly girl. We watched a really sad movie last night and he was loving me crying - just cause he could be all manly and comfort me....while I felt silly and stupid. He generally loves that I am not all into that stuff - but on Valentine's Day he wanted the girly girl to come out faster than she did. I mean to know that I would love a C64 is pretty impressive. He is a good gift giver. After he knew me just a couple weeks the first time around, he got me Life of Brian for Christmas. He has an excellent track record.
Christopher and I bought each other _Life of Brian_ one Christmas! But his first gift to me was _The Meaning of Life_. It's funny how we were both wooed with Monty Python.
